Spring Plein Air Sundays in Williamsburg.
On March 30th, we will host our first plein air painting session at the historic Windsor Castle and its picturesque farmland in Toano, Virginia. Built in the 1700s, this private residence was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
Join us for Plein Air Sundays, where we’ll explore the most picturesque spots in Williamsburg—all within a 25-30 minute commute. Each week’s location will be announced in advance.
This free RSVP event welcomes artists who love nature and enjoy painting outdoors. Bring your easel, chair, and umbrella, choose your favorite medium—oil, watercolor, or pastel—and create a beautiful three-hour étude in an inspiring setting. Basic oil painting guidelines will be available, but prior art experience is recommended.
Connect with fellow artists, share techniques, and immerse yourself in Williamsburg’s natural beauty.
